SENTIER'S PARTNERSHIP WITH MOMUP
On June 23rd, 2021 we announced our partnership with MomUp, a mission-driven career and life coaching company that is focused on connecting women with other value-driven companies.
We first started working with MomUp in March 2020. It goes without saying that when we initiated our dialog with founders Reem and Michelle there was significant anxiety about school closures and the COVID disruption. At the time, none of us could have anticipated the impact that the pandemic was about to have on our working patterns, or that the demands placed on parents would be disproportionally skewed towards mothers with school-aged children.
Sentier was growing quickly and needed help, but we did not want to engage the traditional channels of finding skilled individuals to help us grow our life sciences analytics practice. We had a hunch that out there in the world there were incredibly talented people who already had full-time jobs as mothers, but who also wanted to keep their skills and their network relevant. Many of these women already had pharmaceutical and/or analytics experience but were not ready to reenter the workforce full time.
Our partnership with MomUp reaffirms our commitment to providing a supportive and welcoming work environment to those who have paused their careers to focus on their families and home life. We know that everyone’s circumstances are unique, and resume gaps happen. We also know that intellectually curious, hard-working, and creative people will find their way back into the game – both Sentier and MomUp are keeping their doors open.
